What a fabulously horrible little world

Ok, I should have seen this coming, but I do like this

How many plot threads are there going to be in this dang book? There are...five major threads already and another four or five minor ones.

So we have one evil woman named "hateful" and another evil woman named "envious". Would be nice for there to be an evil man named "Murderer" or "Asshole" or something.

This book would be a lot shorter if there weren't all these contrived obstacles.

This sequence isn't necessary or worthwhile.

Once and Future King has made Lancelot indelibly ugly in my mind. The Ill-Made Knight is too powerful a story for me to imagine Lancelot as handsome.

Oh. If part of the reason Ashyn burned is because the powers weren't restricted by the oaths, and Adolin believes oaths are not inherently valuable, and Maya and he are interacting in ways that the bond doesn't usually work...is Maya still bound to the rules requiring the oaths?

If Kaladin's Fourth Ideal was *this*, I think I have an inkling that Szeth's will be *that*
