I love this book! Since the beginning there’s been one thing after the other I’m so stressed in the best way 😅 what’s gonna happen?

I’m not gonna lie this book has horrible dialogue 😅 the writing isn’t that great and the only purpose of this book is to read smut except I don’t think that’s written all that great either 🤷🏻‍♀️ why am I still readin? I guess cause is easy and I’m laughing at the cringy parts😅

“Why does it smell like a brothel in here ?” 🤣 I was not expecting to laugh so much reading this lol

He called her a “hungry little b**ch in heat 🤣 the gasp I gasped lol

This gives my one dark window vibes! It’s so gothic and the vibe kind of dark but and a bit whimsical and I have no clue where the story is headed at all 😅

So I am starting to think that verity is the queen that use to torture Gideon… there are just too many similarities . She had 2 sister witches that died and knows way too much about spells and got super weird about the bad spells when Rune asked. Not to mention the random book that popped up along with her wearing too much perfume..

Im not very far along but it feels like its taking all my brain power to try and understand what im reading. The book is in a present tense third person POV and if feels like im reading a script for a movie especially the prologue “then this happened, then that guy looked over there” I feel like I should atleast know a little about the main character at this point but know nothing

This is giving flash backs of throne of glass and now I’m feeling nostalgic, I am fully invested and all I can say is i won’t accept anything other than her ending up with the shadow king it better not disappoint 😅

I am loving this so far ☺️ it’s got such magical vibes it reminds me just a little bit of once upon a broken heart but more for adults ☺️

It been a while sense I read the first book in this series and I had forgotten how much I loved Elsie Silvers writing! I am already in love with all the characters 🤠❤️

I am eating this up!! I’m not gonna lie there are way too many similarities to hunger games but I am loving the story and the intensity between the fmc and the mmc it’s so good!
