y’all i’m crying, the author threw all concepts of HIPAA out the window because wdym you’ve been texting your sister all week about the details of a patient’s case? and wdym you and your husband are discussing sensitive information about patients like it’s normal convo daily while eating?! WHAT is going on here?! had to search the reviews & plenty of other people caught it too

uhhhh does this author know about HIPAA or are we pretending it doesn’t exist for the sake of this book 💀

so many books to read so little time

i feel like everyone has that book where they automatically lose trust in someone’s recommendations if they recommend that book. mine is a thousand boy kisses; I will side eye you & be very skeptical about the rest of your book recs

102 pages in, this book is only 225 pages. where is the suspense? where is the lies? there was like one paragraph 10 pages ago where she asked “suspenseful questions” to herself and it went straight back into slice of life angsty teen romance

68 pages in and so far it just reads like a YA summer love story w/ like a sad slice of life. not a hint of suspense or “LIES”. haven’t even gone into why they’re called the “liars”

Reading this so I can watch the tv show

in the hunger games it made sense why they were willing to kill and they had no other option but to accept death if they didn’t win but here the motivation of money and glory is questionable to me. considering most of them are nobles, & rich. yet they’re willing to kill over it and die for it? the desperation only makes sense for the 2 or 3 contestants that are from the slums. hmmm….

not even halfway through the book and the author says the MMC has “tanned skin” sooo many times and yet every fan art I’ve seen of Kai azer has him pale as fcking milk. and the fact that nobody ever says anything is crazier.

Coming back to this book…again very highly anticipated and it’s a book i’ve been wanting to read for years!!! so fingers crossed

take a shot every time this author uses the “drop down and sweep your leg in a wide arc” fighting move
