I didn’t realize it was first person which is not my fav at all. I hate how they’re always talking about Lily and Lo being rich… the writing is far too flat for my liking but I’m trying to give it a chance, I’m only on page 48 after all.

The way it’s written captivates how Elio truly feels towards Oliver, from hating the way he speaks so casually to how he can never stop thinking about him. I will admit the age gap is weird and that’s the main thing that throws me off about the book and film but everything else is so beautiful to me.

Really good so far, keeps you on your toes, wondering whose done it. My first ever Agatha Christie book and it definitely will not be my last.
