this book is so disturbing :o The writing style is so so beautiful though, feel like I'm highlighting every other line

Making it a tradition to listen to anything written by Alice Feeney in audiobook form while I have a lot of editing work to do. I don't let myself listen to the book unless I am working and with all her cliffhangers and suspense my work hours go up 50% everytime- thank u miss Feeney for the energy

It just.... keeps going.... I really enjoyed this novel but I'm 20 pages away from the end and I'd be more than happy if it had just finished 50 pages ago.

Me everytime I read a thriller: i need to stop reading these because I just rush through them in 2 days and don't fully appreciate them

Me as soon as the twists start being revealed: im never reading anything else these are the absolute pinnacle of literature

Sometimes you see a book you were desperate to read as a teenager and you can't help yourself- you've just got to read it even if you're 23 and def have better things to be reading.

It literally took 15 black children to be murdered in the same state for the FBI to relent and admit they had a serial killer on their hands and yet not once does the author make any note of this being very obviously ignored and allowed to continue because the children were black... Very hard to read something like this when it's obviously been looked over by the author.

I cannot believe I found a novel about a lesbian filmmaker on lesbian day of visability 💗💗💗
