I'm annotating this for my own mum. Its a birthday gift, she's just turned 65 and in later life I'm developing a stronger relationship with her. I'm making notes where things remind me of her, writing questions I want to ask her about in the margins and just doing a little commentary throughout so it's a shared experience.

I don't know if being a mother is in my future but this is interesting for sure

made the mistake of listening to this audio book while driving and ended up having to pull over to take copious notes on my cars handbook

Been listening to the audiobook version and I'm very glad I chose this as this isn't a nonfiction book at all, it's very much just an extended podcast. There's no deep research, just conversational points and a lot of filler. I don't mind listening to it but I would give up if I was reading the physical version personally.
