i enjoy the way the author writes, it’s very personable. not surprising considering he’s a minister.

i like the way absalom thinks. rape our sister? get killed, idiot

this is a religious book, written by an evangelical bishop. but the premise intrigues me, hopefully i’m not converted (re-converted?) by the end lol

i’m unfortunately going to read this whole trilogy whether i like it or not. and i don’t like it 😭 what is happening

this book really is not that good, but i really can’t stop reading. oh god

i’m not like ~enjoying~ reading this book, but also, intrigued enough to keep reading

i’m still intrigued but it is giving very “fan-fiction” vibes if you know what i mean

just based off the preface & prologue; this book definitely shows some promise. i love sci-fi / dystopian futures where humans mess with their biology. let’s just hope the writing can sustain the idea

2 things
1.) yes, i’m rereading dracula for a 3rd time & dracula daily for a 2nd time
2.) the book is great & i love that it’s filled with jokes & memes from when it was popular; but the book itself is cumbersome to read comfortably. to me it’s more so a coffee table book, not really a reading book.
