While being an unrepentant Statist, James Loewen generally "gets it right" when writing about historical (hysterical) fabrications not involving Lincoln's War (1861-1865). He deftly deals with ethnicist & imperialist trends in US military operations. However his love-affair w/ Lincoln compels him to a 1-sided serving of rhetorical balderdash that ultimately undermines the rest if his objectivity.
