This book is good, but not really what I wanted. It is about 85% “clash of nations” and only about “15%” Energy and Climate.

My experience with Dead Zone prior to reading the book was the TV show that ran for six seasons starting in 2002. I liked the show, but I did not realize how different it is from the book. King does not even get into the mystery-solving piece until half-way into the book. Also, Sarah and Johnny’s relationship is a lot less wholesome then in the show. I am curious to see how it ends.

Fairly Good. I think Carter hammers home the whole “she’s a victim” mantra too many times. I got it the first few times. I am compelled by the story, even if some of the characters are very basic in development.

Such a good book! I cannot put it down.
