btw, i started reading this book for the smut (which 100% delivered oh my GOD), but some of the fluffier scenes are just so goddamn cute they have me giggling and kicking my feet

honestly, i’ve been pleasantly surprised by the book. some of my lovely friends on here have rated the book poorly, which did make me nervous going into this, but honestly, it’s not that bad. so yeah, pleasantly surprised <3

this certainly is…interesting. the end of chapter one was…something. i listened to chapter two with a friend and we were making fun of the coach guy (forgot his name) because he was doing too much😭 so aggressive for what?

decided that even though this is a reread, i'd count it toward my goal anyway! i'm SO excited because i got my hands on a physical copy (which i said in my status update last night) and i get to actually annotate it!!

rereading happy place by emily henry right now!! last time i read it was on my kindle, but i picked up a physical copy and i’m actually gonna annotate it this time. plan to be done with it on saturday, so that’s when i’ll probably start posting updates again <3

obviously the repeating day trope has been done before, but to see it in a romance (especially one that involves cheating) is just crazy. genuinely loving this so far, and the only reason i stopped reading is because i had to eat😭 i might genuinely just binge-read this whole book tonight
