i kinda agree with what other people are saying about this book. the main character is quite boring and plain. i cant seem to get invested in her as a character. hopefully the other characters perspectives will make this an entertaining read

ive figured it out. this book is trying too hard. i find it (and sarah j maas books in general) the most entertaining when its light and breezy, characters just goofing about without anything too heavy plot wise or angst wise. and its exactly what this book is failing to do. it has its fun moments, for sure, but its trying to be an epic mystery when it really is not.
