it’s crazy to me that Charlie only had to pay $95/month for his apartment….

the way he met his neighbor reminds me a lot about Holly and Paul. i found it interesting how Charlie went from not thinking she was beautiful when he only aware of her looks, but he recognized her as beautiful when he saw how free spirited she was, when she had qualities in herself that he wanted in him. she was captivating after that.

there is so much meaning behind this book. it genuinely encompasses how becoming intellectually smarter can cause you to be less emotionally intelligent. it also speaks volumes on how human connections are formed and the importance of communicating on everyone’s level without overcompensating. im also curious how things would’ve been different had they selected a female instead of male for the experiment.
