rereading this 10 years after my first read i’m more amazed at the really beautiful way Collins’ builds Rue and Katniss’ relationship. also so interesting seeing the whole picture and connection that these chapters have with tbosas and then to the events of catching fire/ mockingjay

wowowow i’m really enjoying this so far the progression of the plot is really interesting and it’s interesting to see the balance between the modern day news coverage and in the moment story telling.

i feel like we’re also starting to get more complete pictures of all character’s traumas. the prayer room is literally haunting. poor maddy 😭

i know y’all are getting whiplash with these updates lol but i’m reading this no more changes i promise!!

anyways the first chapter has me GAGGED like i’m seated this is gonna be a good book

ok putting a pause on book lovers, this is my first physical book i’m reading it’s interesting to see edward’s mind from the initial few scenes from the start
