Also, just writing this for a mental note so I don’t forget but…the glass. I’m curious if it’ll end up being a part of the shattered mirror…like the one from the fairytale. Or maybe not and it’s just glass that’s really icy cold. XD

Finding somethings lost and somethings new!

As I’m reading this I’m finding I really want to read Through The Looking Glass (the original) because I haven’t yet. I think it would be fun to see the tie ins! I might have to read it after this (I’ve read snippets but not the whole thing)! <3

I love the memories and glimpses of the past and what was forgotten and tried to be erased!
This is such a good book and I have no idea what’s going to happen next (there have already been plot twists I didn’t expect) and I’m so excited to find out what’s next! <3

I love that this has stories within the story! It reminds me of the original Alice In Wonderland where it would pause to tell a story somehow relating to Alice’s journey! I like that part! <3

I’m in love with this story already! I’m SO SO happy that Chess has a POV! I just cannot stop smiling and grinning like the Cheshire Cat! XD

So…for now I think I’m going to pause on reading this book. It’s okay but I’m just not invested in the story. It’s too much of a contrast from the first two and I just feel..lost and I don’t really care for the characters.
I also have some books I’m dying to read and I don’t want to wait to read those amazing books anymore.

I LOVE this book SO MUCH!!! I love the world of Narnia and the characters! It’s just SO good! <3

I do like the newest POV character. I think she will be fun to read about. But…I don’t get this book. XD
There is (currently) zero relation to the previous book (besides 2 characters). It also genre jumped with no context. It’s a different story now. It was an urban fantasy, then a fantasy, and now it’s just a dystopian but with no context to connect the first two books to this one.
I don’t know about this.

This is both surprisingly good and at the same time…all the characters are stupid and keep doing stupid things!
Question: Have you ever read a book when you just want to yell at the characters to make better decisions?

I have always loved and been fascinated by WW2 (one day I hope to write a novel in that time). I’m so happy to be reading this book! I love how it is all letters and telegrams. I think that’s really cool.
Already, from just the introduction, I just feel emotional and keep getting misty eyes. You really can feel the emotions and the deep loss the characters are going through. This is such a beautiful story already!
