This book is SO intriguing. It's too bad it also contains the worst dialogue I've ever read in my life.

I'm sorry, THE Barbara Crampton is a narrator for the audiobook? Hell yes.

Trying not to DNF, but I'm so bored.

HOW am I only 2/3 of the way through this?? I want to DNF, but I'm hoping the later books are better about the mythology and not just procedural detective novels.

It's really refreshing to read a collection that doesn't have fifteen or more stories. Ten seems like the optimal number.

Incredible, inspired storytelling. The way each chapter is a series of recursive short stories about Jack and Elizabeth that all tie together is stunning.
