there feels like a lot less at stake here than the og trilogy. its very much a love story and feels more like literary fiction than the dystopian that it is. i adore that genre so i dont mind but i was expecting more high stakes, and all i have is snow repeatedly hating poor people then being surprised when theyre human beings too. like when is he gonna go mad
