i fear this is the most criminally underrated harry potter book. first, harry’s emotions and anger? SO real! i feel that this is the book where it really hits me how messed up his circumstances truly are and i just want to hug him and cry while reading just about every chapter. second, my god, the absolute hatred that boils inside you because of the ministry and umbridge is UNMATCHED. third, canon wolfstar PROOF!!

this book feels like when you hang out with a new friend for the first time and instantly click and share every detail about who you are with each other and become best friends but then rarely see each other after that but look back with fond memories and know you are a better person because of them.
