spoiler alert i guess but i cannot get over the fact that she got rid of the car this is so …. so annoying. i get that it drove the plot but there were SO many other reasons the car could’ve gotten taken from her or whatever than to decide to get rid of it idk i’m annoyed

boring a bit at the start and getting more interesting now. i absolutely hate when social media elements are put into a book and there’s so much of that in here. the one thing that i’ll say it was useful for was the part when the chat page thing discusses the history of the island but otherwise it’s annoying and so many pop culture references that date the book poorly

idk…… i don’t really like the writing style and while i do think the premise is interesting and there are some notable moments so far, it feels a little meh. not even saying that because it’s gross or whatever but honestly doesn’t feel very engaging.

this book is making me feel too much! continuing is upsetting and unavoidable

can’t remember the last time a book had my full attention so quickly, literally from the first page
