Reasonably good so far despite a slow pace, but would've been better if Ginny stopped being an immature tantrum-throwing baby and threw the Idiot Ball away for once.

Mary Roach's style is apt for NYT article type works, but gets tiring in book form. I'm finding that even a topic like sexual research can be rendered boring and dull.

Ok, the first few interviews the interviewer had my sympathy, because the inventors he talked to seemed pretty hard to get a sensible interview out of. But even when given a great interviewee like Gary Michelson, Stern robotically sticks to his script and gives us a rather disappointing interview. The book still seems worth reading, but probably could have been a much better book if done by a professional journalist.
