Under other circumstances, I might be finding this book hilarious and itching to read more of it. Having just finished two Christopher Moore books (Love Story #1 and #2), this one feels like eating a cake after having had rich marshmallows and jangris. Maybe I should come back to this later, when the aftereffects are less potent.

The author seems well-acclaimed and accomplished, but man is the beginning of this book padded up - the first 20% was all fluff, it's just now getting to the meat of the matter, about presenting, at page 60 or so!

Hmmm. Seems more political than psychological so far, and I didn't know that the agenda behind the book was to push evolutionary psychology as a valid branch of psychological study - I'm okay with evopsych itself, just would have liked it if the title had hinted at that fact.

Hoping the book still pays off in the end though.
