I’m having a really hard time connecting with the characters and have since the start. All they do is argue and be passive aggressive with one another. It feels…boring? Old? It happens too frequently through the course of the book. I’m sticking with it to see if anything changes. But confused on where it’s going. Sigh.

Having a hard time liking the characters and feel like the plot is slow. Trying to figure out where it’s going.

This book is giving me anxiety. It’s honestly so heart breaking to read about her abuse and how she was sexually exploited as a child and how okay with drugs her crowd is. I just can’t imagine. And her discussing her constant guilt. Addiction is so hard. Ugh. 😔

So curious where this book is going. Wild and so many parallels.

While I understand her friends concerns and frustrations, I’m irritated at how she’s handling them and treating her friend of apparently 18 years. I’m not a fan of people giving the cold shoulder or being mad/treating someone differently and being rude…but then not communicating what’s going on. Maybe more will come to light later but right now, mad at the friend for the main character. Ugh.

Meh. This books seems longer than needed to far. Was starting to get board several dozen pages ago. Also hate the friend dynamic.

Didn’t realize some of the stuff about her dad. Also her vulnerability and being willing to share her struggles.
