Things I have noticed about this book so far: wives are able to understand their husbands, even when all they do is mumble and babble. Perfection is talked about often, but never really obtained. Fezzik is still the best thing ever.

Stopping right before the "The Announcement" chapter. So far so good, though I question a few choice phrases when Goldman is describing his own son. The metafictional bits are great, though, and his style is right up my alley.

This is the first book in ages I've contemplated staying up all night to read. Not finish. Just READ. But alas, to bed with me.
