Not as madly in love with it as I was with Vol. 1, but lot of set up. Can't wait for the next one.

I hated this book.

For a book about magicians, it certainly lacks magic. I keep waiting to like any of the characters, but so far nothing.

Figured out what I don't like - the lack of love for magic. Unfortunately, that's also the point of the book so far...

I can't place my finger on what nags me about this book. There's something and I'm waiting to figure out what. So far, good but not great.

Don't believe the dust jacket. The in-book books are based on Narnia, not HP.

Not as breath taking as his other work. Still, knew what it was going in and still enjoyed it.

This horror story is very self-aware without veering into metafiction. I approve.

Decided to keep track of the "pages" by dividing 496 by 81 (number of total sections). Not accurate in the least, but it works for me.

Made it through part three of 81. Long section. Not that I minded terribly. :)

Reading the serialization on Tor.com. I anxiously await each new chapter.
