God I hate being predictable but if you give me a psycho character you can’t not expect me to love them. It goes against everything I am dammit. Ugh! Anyways I also hate that I love this book, I knew it was gonna be meta and similar to all those reincarnation villainess stories but I like that this one leans into being evil and it’s actually funny and charming in its own way.

“Don’t strike me, I stab when startled.”

I fear I may love this book. Just the right amount of meta, cringe, and humor and I’m having the time of my life.

This is probably one of the most beautifully written books I’ve read in a while. Everything is so imaginative and dark and terrifying that I feel genuine terror for these boys. And the tension? The artwork? The descriptions? Chefs kiss! If Goodreads had more stars this would have a 10 from me so far. God I love this book.

Damn I ask for toxic obsessive love with horror and I get it. I am being so well fed.

God I love queer horror. It is always delicious like damn. For anyone who is suspicious of this book cause it’s technically YA I would say do not let that sway you. The writing is gorgeous and it doesn’t simplify itself for a younger audience. I would say this is verging on new adult 17+ minimum.

So far the plot is very interesting. I’ll have to see how it ends before I can truly judge it but I’m having a good time. I fear, however, this could slide into semi dangerous territory? We’ll have to see…

Damn…I’m either gonna love this book or I’m gonna despise it

1. Damn this girl can’t catch a break. Also I always forgot she’s 17 and I love that it’s kinda the point

2. Even tho I am aware of what is gonna happen I am still afraid

I don’t think I have words to describe how I feel about this book yet but I will say so far I like it better than the first two.

Truly this is my favorite book in the series so far. The yearning, the stakes, the characters, I love it all. This book fleshes out the gods and the world building and makes the vampires and more filled out race beyond what is known in standard fantasy. For once I’m interest in the couple and I want them to be together and succeed.

I definitely like this more in with the dragons involved but getting through this book is tough especially if I have to pick it up again after putting it down. I think it’s just the amount of tropes and the over usage of certain lines and other things that can make parts of this text irritating at times. Good thing is that I’m no longer considering to DNF this so something is going right.

One of the best romantasy’s I’ve read in awhile. I’ll explain in more detail when I finish but I’m loving this book. Keirse is the definition of a bad ass without being chocked full of tropes and stereotypes.

The only way I can really describe how I feel about this book now is: Why? The concept was so cool. Why do you have to fuck it up with nonsense?

What do you mean a dog humped and ejaculated on her leg!!! Why was this included??

Dare I say that I like this book more than the first two? The slow burn romance feels more realistic in this one. I also feel like now that we’ve moved away from the hunger games esq plot of the first two books the authors has more leyway to build the world which I very much enjoy.

So far so good, it’s a YA so I’m not expecting god tier writing, it’s simple and gets to the point, but the idea is interesting so I’m a little invested. I am worried tho that is book will fall off for me. So here’s to hoping that it doesn’t

I don’t think I’ve ever procrastinated on a book this much in my life

Genuinely shocked by this book so far. Ngl I picked up this book because the sprayed edges and inside cover were beautiful and I didn’t really think much else about the book. I knew it was a romantasy of sorts and that was it. I’m shocked with how much I’m enjoying this so far, I’ll have to read more but honestly it projecting a good review for this one. Also this is the authors first fantasy? Wow.

I think this is one of the most inventive and creative science fiction books I’ve read in awhile. Love the idea of the alien. Have to say though, I hate Hawkins.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a book where I think the murder aspect of the plot is the safe spot. Safe to say that unless the end is atrocious this book is gonna get a guilty 4-5 stars from me
