So far I am liking this. The conversations and interactions between detectives isn’t realistic, it reads like someone that hasn’t been around Law Enforcement. (I’m an LEO wife so I hear it a lot lol). Phrases like, “before we head back to police headquarters” made me giggle.

This is pretty interesting and a great reminder to be thankful for women through history who fought for how good we have it now.

I’m listening to the audiobook, love that all three did the narration. The format matches their podcast which is *chef’s kiss*

The reviews for this book are bad and the first two pages had me thinking, Oh this might be insufferable. lol However, I pushed on because I hate to drop it so quickly. First short story down and if I strip away the authors obvious need to sound intelligent and enlightened, the actual message was interesting. So I plan to push forward with that in mind. I feel the author just needs to relax on impressing people.
