I wasn't prepared for this book. I'm devastated, angry, and heart-broken by what's happening. The stuff happening to the family in this book is why there shouldn't be billionaires, why we need a higher minimum wage, and why we need universal healthcare. The dad gets sick and the mom gets laid off when the school gets rid of it's art program and within a couple of months they are homeless with little kids.
