This is the second part of the original "The Winter King" novel. Good pace, the story is never boring, not many fight till now, few hopes to win. A great adventure!

Lancelot and Guinevere are definitively hateful and arrogant characters. I wonder how Merlin will be depicted.

I'm satisfied by this book. Arthur is a complex character: reflexive and peaceful, but also fierce in battle. On the other side, from the beginning Sansum is depicted like a treacherous and disgusting character and I think he will be a real problem for Arthur.

Audiobook version, a story I read in the past, but it's interesting to try this format.

Finally Arthur makes his appearance. I'm curious to see how this character is represented.

Easy reading, a compelling story but very slow.

Tiste Edur enter in Letheras. I've almost finished the book and now the knots come to a head and some gods show themself.

An interesting series of advice to talk with people, but I don't know if they are useful today. It looks a way too naive to deal with people.

Wow! Erikson left the better for the final part! Description of the battle of Brands fortress is incredible and crazy!

There is an impressive description of the battle near the Katter river, with ghosts, warriors, demons and mages, in a sequence of violence and gore. Erikson style is always blunt and rough.

I've heard often speak about this book, in these years. I'm trying the audiobook version: so far an interesting series of advices, to think about and to use for a better understanding of others and themselves.

A good classic that I found in audiobook version. A story I know well, but I like the acting and the variety of actors involved. :)
