I actually started reading this summer of last year, during a weekend beach trip. My Kindle says I’m on 7%, but since I don’t remember it anymore, I’m starting from page 1.

I’ve decided to reread Sherlock Holmes just because, and I’m choosing this version because of the illustrations.

My father gave me this book 15 years ago, when I was still a kid. I’ve read it many, many times in the past. Each time, I loved it. Let’s see if it still holds up the same magic now! 😁

Finished this about 2 days after I started reading. It was what I expected, and I'm pleasantly surprised that the movie stayed pretty faithful to it. Great read.

I’ve seen the movie thrice so I can’t believe this is the first time I’m reading this! My Kindle estimates that it will take me about 4.5 hours to read this, so it sounds perfect for today’s read. Glad that it didn’t waste any time setting up the action. I’m only on the 2nd chapter and I’m already intrigued!

Everything’s slowly coming together but I’m not really liking the outcomes. I feel like… there’s no foreshadowing whatsoever.

I actually have a few issues with this book but man, it’s such a page-turner. 😭

Accidentally fell asleep while reading last night, lol. Starting my reading session again!

Excited to start this book!

I started to pick up at around the 65% mark. Kinda late, don’t you think? I’m definitely interested now, but it’s a shame that it took this long.

Reading this is becoming a chore. 😭 I really, really want to like it, but it’s so hard to get into. The only reason why I’m trudging on is that I don’t want to DNF a book.

I first started reading this over 4 days ago and I just can’t get into it. I don’t DNF books, though, usually, so I think I’m going to try a few more chapters. Kinda disappointing since I had really high hopes for this one.

I'm getting to the exciting part.

Also, this is weird but... so far, the book feels super long yet so entertaining at the same time. I don't know. I've never felt bored while reading this, but it also feels like I've been reading it forever. So strange.

Okay, I double-checked on my phone. Turns out this was originally a PDF file, which is why the formatting is all weird on a Kindle. Oh well.

That said, my only comment so far is that it looks a little weird on my Kindle PPW5. Feels like the text is grey instead of black?

It’s focusing too much on the romance for my liking, but… eh. Let’s see where this goes.

So far, so weird. Literally every story here is weird. Written beautifully, yes. But weird and nonsensical, nonetheless.

Pausing my two other currently-reading books for this one! I just got approved on NetGalley and it’s getting archived like… tomorrow so I gotta finish this one fast. 😂

Had to remind myself that this is a thriller, not a romance. 😂 Really not a fan of romance books, so I’m hoping this one takes a dark turn (half kidding.)

As a dog lover and furmom myself, I’m loving this entire thing so far. Way to go, Sara!

Chapter 5. And I think I’m gonna have to put this on hold, at least for now.

Will probably pick something else for tonight, preferably a crime thriller or something.

I don’t think this is my cup of tea, after all, but I’m willing to continue…

I’ve had this on my to-read for a while now… finally starting this baby tonight.

Huh, I had to remind myself that RosaMarie is 5 years old. It feels like she suddenly aged by 10 years in just a few pages. That’s super weird.

Had to stop at 51% before I fell asleep. Super excited to continue! I’m really hoping for the best for Jack and his family, even though things are looking pretty grim right now.

Oh my god. So THAT’S what happened. Pretty clever with the delivery, I gotta say.

Reading about their happy days prior to everything that happened makes me feel even worse now…

I’ve been wondering what the backstory is to all this, and I think we’re finally getting it…
