I've read this a long time ago, but I can remember enjoying it so much it deserves a re-read.

I've read this a long time ago, but I can remember enjoying it so much it deserves a re-read.

I can see this book being tossed aside as it's not interesting me in the least. The author, I think, so far, is trying to hard for the book to be like E.M. Delafield's 'Diary of a Provincial Lady.' Nothing could ever come near that unless Ms Delafield arose from her grave. I shall give it another 10 pages + then I'm afraid it will be abandoned. I had rather high hopes for this + it has not risen to the occasion.
