Personally, I think Danielle Steel writes historical fiction much better than her present-day works.
As usual, the book is littered with sentences beginning with 'And,' + the same sentence is rephrased slightly in at least 3or4 different ways over a few pages. Just imagine how short all these books would be otherwise.
This offering is slightly different in that it's set in the 21st + early 20th-centuries.
