I feel bad for Vin.... The first book she gets into has a cliff hanger ending.

"You know," he said, "it amazes me sometimes that we bother to try. With everything they've done to us-the deaths, the tortures, the agonies-you'd think we would give up on things like hope and love. But we don't. Skaa still fall in love. They still try to have families. And they still struggle..."

I just met Elend and he feels the way I do about reading. Idk who he is but I like him already. It looks like Vin does too. 😎

And the plot thickens. There have been many "wait, what?" Moments while reading this book so far.

So far, this book is all over the place. I'm not entirely sure what is actually happening. Maybe it's supposed to be that way.
