I needed a break from grand epics. I tried to get a Stephenson book but alas...I was denied. So Koontz it is! I heard a lot of good things about this one...

Slowly getting on with this book. The added detail of this book kind of makes it hard to actually read through it.

I've actually been 'listening to this book for a bit and so far it is intriguing. It is complementing the series well. After being away from the Odd series for a year, it's been an experience

A definite creepy book so far. I like the fact we are following competent people and not complete morons that can't figure out a thing without someone spelling it out for them.

The writing might not be getting any better, but the story just keeps sucking me IN!!

I'm already worried about this book. The character's don't seem 'driven' at all and this seem very much like a sloppy TV show setting that was thrown together. The premise was awesome, but this delivery is looking less and less interesting.

After reading that awful Darkness Evening of the Year, I have to find something to redeem Koontz back into my library. Hopefully this will be it.

This one is a little jumpy so far. Doesn't leave much of the mystery I loved in the first book, but it is still good to keep going

So far this is becoming the best book in the series.

Finally getting to the end of this run of books. I like the idea, but so far the execution has been...so-so.
