This one's been a slow read, but that doesn't make it any less interesting. Definitely a great tale of loneliness and need for companionship.

I'm going to set this one aside for now. I'm just not feeling it. Maybe I've grown too much for murder mysteries.

Halfway through, and it's still a wild ride. I'm surprised I set this one down. I must've been going through a phase.

I don't remember getting this far and being that brutal. Yeesh. Not for the faint of heart.

I couldn’t get into this even though I had an Advance Readers Copy. I’m gonna try it again.

Definitely a decent book so far. Everything I've wanted in a fantasy set in Greek mythology that doesn't follow your typical cast of characters.

Man. The more you pour into this book, the better it gets.

Boundaries are hard to define, but easy to infer.

Fair point made here by Schilthuizen. Why do we scold human ecosystems but not ants? We still want to keep a critical eye at certain modern innovations that affect the environment but still marvel at one of nature's greatest engineers: us/humans.

More science!! Already loving the intro where the author would collect insects. Fun times.

It is already intriguing. Dark matter is definitely a subject I'm less-than-versed in. It's definitely a book you want to take slowly, even if you're used to the jargon.

Getting back into more science books.

Some these stories seem to deviate from the theme. They are great stories, but wish they'd stuck with the theme of the book.

The math and intellectual prowess of this so far is just...awe-inspiring. I'll probably slowly be reading this so I can take the concepts as I go.

As I'm hearing Cernan's wife's kind of 'view' to being the 'astronaut's wife,' I'm reminded of the time I yearned to be on or at least do something with space. I wonder how my wife might react. She probably wouldn't even let me go.

'Mechanical Messiah' has a nice ring to it.

Had to return this one to the libary and didn't get a chance to dive deep into it, but will read it again.
