Arthy Shakthi Bala is on page 233 of 360 of The Last Queen
Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni has vividly explained the tumultuous journey so far. The cunning, scheming masterminds of royal people stuns me. Though I felt disconnected from the book in the middle, now the fast pace is engaging. There is no stalling of the plot. That's a good thing.

"And have you never walked into a room and wondered what you came in for? Have you never forgotten what you just did? Have you never blanked out or misremembered what you were just doing?"

These lines sent a shiver down my spine!

The author, amazingly portrays depression. The words he used to describe Nora's feelings towards her existence make a deep impact.

I am definitely planning to look about Thoreau!

Now the story goes on like 'murder on the Orient express'. I am guessing that Simon and Jackie had played something...but a few things seem amiss..let's see what happens.

So far I feel like the plot is similar to Endless night...but secretly hoping that Agatha Christie won't betray me! Expecting a plot twist at the end.
