No, I didn't just make a huge jump in the book, I just realized that there's a big preview of the next book in the series at the end, so I was much further along than I thought.

I'm not sure what to make of this, it SEEMS very clear-cut who the murderer is... but I'm less than halfway through the story; my problem is that I can't think of anyone else the murderer COULD be. Well, I do have one other suspect but that one seems... unlikely even by murder mystery standards.

I'm struggling to not want to strangle a couple of the characters (mostly for being mopey and wishy-washy), but the story itself is quite interesting.
