Chapter four of this book is so good

Grace P. Campbell is amazing I can’t believe I’ve never heard of her.

Saying the Soviets had an alliance with the Nazism is just simply untrue. The Soviet Union had attempted security pacts with Great Britain and the US to work against German aggression. The Soviet Union was the only major country to attempt an anti-nazi alliance (1936-8). The non-aggression treaty is a stain on history but that is like saying US/USSR non-aggression treaty was a “US GOV-communist alliance.”
