Book club pick this month. Loving this story. How hard for a kid to emigrate from India to America as one of the "1st" families to do so before it became commonplace. I love the simplicity with which he sees his world around him.

You can't help but love this character Jake persevering with his honesty while surrounded by sharks going in for the kill. He is just as lovable in this book as he was in a Time to Kill. That being said the storyline itself is not nearly as exciting.
