Apparently I’ve read this book before. As I glanced over my highlights and marinations I figured a second read at an older age and in a different time of my life (not the “golden days in the June of life” Durant refers to), I should find new meaning and usefulness.

Made it to page 93. This book could have used a better editor. Maybe I’ll try again later.

Breathless?
I can’t quite get into the rhythm of the writing. Interestingly I’m in the same time periods as the history of Jazz book that I am also reading, but that author is much more smooth, almost eloquent compared to this. I might have to set this aside while I finish other books. IDK.
