I was listening to the audiobook while cooking and cleaning and it took me too long because I kept pausing every 10 seconds; Peeta had me blushing and giggling so hard😂

Part one was far more entertaining. But that might just be me since I’m not really into fighting scenes in general.

Prim’s little quack melted my heart. The end of chapter one shocked me, didn’t expect this to be heartbreaking so early on.

I went from wanting to dnf this book to cracking the hell up at how funny it is. It’s kinda cheesy but it’s tolerable since Atticus grew on me.

I’m torn between my curiosity and the urge to dnf this for how cringey and poorly written it is. I can’t believe this is the same author who wrote Sinfully Mine.

I love this story and these characters so much that it hurts.

A nine year old being allowed to drink wine is insane.

There are so many ships in this book but Ronan x Ryder and Raegan x Ryder have me in a chokehold!

Devon and Raegan butting heads makes me giggle; kinda reminds me of me and my mom.

The sexism (especially from Devon) is insufferable. Getting graped doesn’t justify locking her daughter in a cage while being forced to watch her brothers roam freely outside. Devon and Reed are big hypocrites; they have no right to accuse, judge, forbid, or punish Raegan for doing exactly what they did. Wasn’t that the point of their book? That love conquers all? JOJO! HAVE YOU LEARNED NOTHING?! They pmo istg!

These twists are driving me crazy. I was so unsettled that I cried.

“I don’t know where Henry was. Probably looking at the moon and reciting some poem from the T’ang Dynasty” pfft, this is so Henry. I cracked up visualizing it in my head, him with sparkly eyes and all.

The cracks are getting bigger. There’s something fishy going on with Charles, Camilla, and Henry, and it annoys me that I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Eve is the most precious thing ever! And I like Atticus—I always prefer softies. I enjoyed the first book so much but I’m enjoying this one even more.
