This is really slow and that's the only reason why I haven't finished it yet. It's a great concept but there's too much word vomit and not enough dialogue. It's all narration.

Okay so I'm kinda liking this but the writing....the author doesn't seem to get that there can be strings of dialogue! Every speech sentence doesn't have to have a paragraph of explanation behind it!

Okay seriously with the Sandy Bottom Bay usage. We get it. We know where they all live.

Is this a new author? Where is the editor? Because the name of the town (Sandy Bottom Bay) is annoying and is used on every single page. On average probably more than once a page.

Why is it that most books that involves vampires (that speak in a more contemporary voice, that is) just LOVE to take a stab at Twilight? I mean, yes, Edward sparkled, but that was Steph's idea! And she made MILLIONS off of it! And continues to, to this day! Her idea may seem stupid to you, but to the THOUSANDS of Twilight fans out there throwing money at her...you've got to at least give her respect. She's a GENIUS.

GREAT SCOTT.... But what does this mean? For those who say this book doesn't have a plot, they're just not looking at it correctly. The plot is *understanding*. To understand what is truly happening at Watford. There's a villain, yes, but he isn't the sole problem. The problem is the secrets, what's hidden in Watford.

So Agatha is a bitch. Telling Simon he can't come to Christmas is a bit rude considering his upbringing. It's no fair to leave anyone without a place to spend Christmas, especially when they haven't done anything to you really. He should stay with Baz. Definitely.

Okay so at some times I really appreciate how this is written in the POV of multiple characters so that we get to see the different plugs of the story that will come together but other times I desperately hate it....because it's a little boring. I don't CARE about Agatha or Pen's POVS. Where are my Simon and Baz?
