2) Both Marie-Laure and Werner are blind in different ways
3) Doerr gives us an exciting view of Germany before the brutal second world war
4) Usually, I wouldn't say I like child perspectives. Kudos to the author for making me ignore that.
5) I like both perspectives. And adore Jutta.
