I read Men of the Shadows and was disappointed by the historical inaccuracies. I know, I know, it's fantasy and it should all be taken with a grain of salt. But before stating that American civilisations peaked well before Europe just remember that there are older temples in Europe and Asia than there are in the continents of America. Oh, and vikings did not exist in Roman times... 1 star out of 5.

I was never attracted to love triangles, but Murakami's, 'Norwegian Wood' reminds me of my old days in the 6th form. There were nights of heavy drinking with large circles of 'friends', lots of women, and one very dear friend I lost because of circumstances. I guess I'm not alone in this. Oh, and the writing is simply beautiful.

I had a hectic month, and finally, I have some free time to read more of this. Calcutta is proving to be quite a grand event. If M. Das is who Simmons wants us to believe, I will categorize Mr Muktanandaji's story about Kali as creepy.

For the past few days, I stopped reading this & considered DNF'ing it. Bateman & his friends are so very toxic & Patrick is starting to live up to the title of Psycho—it would be a shame if I stop now. He's chaotic & narcissistic. I've been told that getting to know psychopaths is all superficially charming in the beginning but it gets cruel as you get to know them. Kudos to Ellis for the amazing characterization.
