I feel like there's too much repetition in this book. I hate saying that but I feel like I'm reading the same thing over and over

why does it seem like the writing here is not as quality as the wrath and the dawn? not hating, just making an observation. I find it very simplistic and more telling than showing. idk

I can't wait for these two to meet finally. I like the modernity of the book, with the cellphone aspect. still weirded out that all the TV shows and movies and books that exist in our universe are also in theirs...

something I find weird: this show exists in the realm of all of the other sci fi shows that we have. I just find that hard to get. maybe a few shows and movies, yeah, but all of them? getting just a little thrown off. still enjoying the writing though

drastic change from the handmaid's tale. liking the setting of charleston

wow what a surprise something is happening near the end of the book that seems plot driven. where was some of this 241 pages ago

this book is so intriguing. i don't know what i will rate this at the end. not my favorite book of all time, but not the worst book in the world either. different from other things i have read for sure
