A couple of hours reading by the look of things. Reads like a quaint episode of Haven so far

My word! I am finding Connolly's writing so engaging and immersive it should carry a health warning!
The 30 page intro to this book is stomach churning and to find out Connolly had a huge difficulty writing this book due to the subject matter and the people he encountered in South Carolina when researching the novel makes it all the more interesting to me.
Count me gripped!

My word this book has got me hook, line and sinker now. Can't wait to see what happens next

After hellish train journeys the last two days this has been my saving grace. Thank you Mr Connolly for another immersive, page Turner that descends into darkness pretty quickly. With additional spiders!

Wow, not felt that bad about a character death in a long, long time. Pierce Brown the gift of an author that just keeps giving

Well thought that Eric describing the death of George Harrison was bad enough, the death of Robin William's was really moving. Who knew he was wrongly diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease? But was actually suffering from Lewy Body dementia which they only found out at his autopsy. Sad, sad, sad reading about a true great. And then there's the deaths of a lot of his famous friends too in a matter of months.

The Leslie Nielson story with the fart joke in thrift is class.
And the Python's all baring their arse at the George Harrison memorial at the Royal Albert Hall was genius.

Brilliantly entertaining so far. George Harrison's house sounds amazing (Friar Park) and who knew his The Rutles (Beatles mickey take) was the first mockumentary film?

Interesting reading about him losing the Jack Ryan role and him calling Harrison Ford as a 'little man, short, scrawny and with whose quiet voice sounds like it is coming from behind a door.' Ouch.

Finding this interesting but strangely distant too. Almost like Baldwin finds people interesting but doesn't like getting too close to people, especially early in his career. Understandable mind when you heat all the shenanigans he mentions and his come habit. Just not sure he LIKES people.

Really interesting so far. Difficult upbringing for one of my fave actors

This trilogy really is something else. Superb all the way.
