My daughter handed me this book. She knows that I am keenly interested in WW2 history, and especially aviation. I have been interested in the former Soviet Union ever since I was only enough to understand my uncles, and grandparents swearing about those "g-damned commies." My interest in the USSR was later intensified when I met Soviet sailors a few times during my time in the US Navy.

I have been waiting a while for this book.

Picked this book on the suggestion of Amazon.

I love a good Western. Reminds me of lazy summer Sunday evenings after supper at my maternal grandparents' house. Sitting under the eaves in the cool evenings on the porch reading old Westerns with my great grandmother and grandmother while listening to my grandfather and uncles, and cousins listen to ball game on the radio and curse at our team losing.

This author writes some of my favorite fantasy. Read this series a while ago, and it is a pleasure to re-read it again.

I've loved almost all of this author's works, but his Lost Fleet series is my fav from him. When I heard this book was available I grabbed it on Kindle.

Re-reading as book #3 came out and I realized I had forgotten a lot of the MC's back story. So giving it a quick read again.
