I saw another reviewer read this book, and figured I would give it a shot. So far so good.

This is a decent book, but is another one that focuses more on Anita's bedroom circus, than it does on Anita being a badass preternatural marshall and necromancer.

I have been looking forward to this series for a while now. I enjoyed the Frontline series and I am happy the author is writing more in that world.

I had put this series aside, as I did not like how the focus of the books shifted from Anita being a badass preternatural marshall, but focused on the circus that is her bedroom.

The more recent books have shifted some of the focus away from the bedroom circus and more towards Anita being a powerful necromancer and a marshall.

Going back to where I set the series aside to see when this change occurred.

So far a decent book that I grabbed on a whim. It was only $2 on Amazon, so I figured what the hell grabbed it and give it a read.

The explicit sex is not as raunchy as I expected. The sex also very quickly settled into the "committed relationship" type.

I have found the last couple books more enjoyable as the focus has shifted some away from Anita's bedroom circus and more towards her being a badass supernatural killing marshall.

I have been meaning to read some of this series for a while now.

So far, this series has been decent. Not as cringe-worthy as I expected.

Rereading again as it is one of my fav books in this series.
