My second reading. Last time was 20 years ago. It’s just so good. It’s far richer now. (Maybe because I’m older and appreciate more of its fine qualities?)

Rereading!

Well worth the read. While we may not implement everything this Barna reasesrch-based book encourages (humbly, Andy Crouch gives a “reality check” on his only family follow through at the end of each section) it certainly gives us something better to aspire to. There are enough “don’t” voices out there and too few “instead” narratives. Crouch reminds us that something better lies ahead for those who will look for it.

Pretty good. I’ve not seen too much on the theology of creativity, and this goes deeper than others I’ve read. The examples of the “echoes of eden” in famous authors work was helpful but a bit longer than I’d like toward the end. Still, glad I read it.
