Halfway through and I’m glad to see some threads being woven together and some things coming to a head. I look forward to the second half which seems ripe for some big battles and large reveals.

Wow wow wow wowowowowowowow… I called it… I knew things where going too smoothly… lining up too perfectly… love this book so far!

Halfway through and not sure how I feel about it. On one hand I love the Cormac parts and the mystery with the Dragon. On the other hand, all the POV parts with the psychopath Pelter and the Separatists is mostly unnerving and grim. I think I’d rather fewer of those and only when necessary to progress the plot.

Halfway through and very intrigued. Maybe because it’s a YA novel I feel like the plot has been pretty predictable. Hoping it has that trademark killer ending full of unforeseen twists and the like.

Halfway through and I am hooked! I always love starting a new series from an author I haven’t read much before. Even though I’ve read Shadow of the Gods, I truly have no idea what to expect as far as twists, plot devices, major character deaths, etc. It makes for a fun first read because it’s truly a journey that I can’t wait to continue!

Part Two done. Really enjoying this. Don’t reach much YA material but I like the spin on the typical coming of age story with a ship. Sanderson has this one paced well too.
