Finished Drive and The Butcher of Anderson Station. I had familiarity with these as both were prologues to two episodes of The Expanse TV series. These short stories are slightly different as you get more background on the characters and their thoughts that a TV show can't replicate. Loved them both as they added humanity to Fred Johnson and a sad background to a major piece of technology in Drive.

So since I already read The Churn (Amos!) I’m only going to read the first three and then tack on the other short stories in my review as I go forward in the series. I’ll be starting Nemesis Games right after I finish the first 3 short stories.

Less than 100 pages to go and can’t wait for the thrilling climactic ending! I have my theories on how this will end and so far most of my theories after Malice have come to pass. Bring it on! Also, does Gwynne have a name for his wild finishes like Sanderson has the Sanderlanche? He should.

Ok so… that whole last stretch of chapters was amazing… Three cheers for friends in dark places! So very pumped for the end of this book and all the reveals that are certain to take place.

Finished Part Four. Sanderlanche is here and my curiosity is off the charts. Also, Doomslug!!!

Halfway done and I think it’s been on par with The Fires of Heaven so far. I have come to very much enjoy the Forsaken chapters too. Brilliant move to reveal some information the reader would otherwise never know.

Halfway through the second Agent Cormac book. It ups the level of creepy and offers a more intriguing story than the first one. I think I’m enjoying it more but not immensely so.
