Truth and courage. Thoroughly enjoying the start of this book and series. People say it’s slow to start with too many names but, after reading The Way of Kings, it prepared me well and I don’t think anything will compare. I’m doing well with all the names, places, and events.

Loving this book already. I am one to always crave more world building and lore, more mysteries answered and new ones revealed. In a book series, I need constant progress and reveals to keep me entertained and so far, The Fires of Heaven is hitting those sweet spots.

This will be the year of John Gwynne for me as I plan to read the entire Banished Lands series as well as The Hunger of the Gods when that comes out. I was introduced to him with The Shadow of the Gods and I loved it. I’m so excited to read this series this year.

Weeeee! Back to riding the winds of time! Having taken a couple months off from fantasy to read some sci-fi, I’m back! I look forward to continuing the story after the excellent The Shadow Rising. My plan is to at least get through Book 9 this year and finish the series in 2023. Let’s go!
